Kids Hoop

Our Kids Hoop/Lyra class invites children to explore the magic of aerial arts in a fun and supportive environment!

Students will learn how to safely mount, balance, and perform beautiful poses and spins on the aerial hoop. With a focus on building strength, flexibility, and confidence, this class offers a perfect blend of fitness and creativity.

Friendly instructors will guide kids through exciting routines and tricks, ensuring they have a blast while making new friends and discovering the joy of aerial hoop!

Level 1

Kids Hoop Ages 8-14

The kids hoop at Believe offers a safe and supportive environment where kids can dream big and work hard, both artistically and physically. With small class sizes and skilled instructors, we ensure quality instruction and safety.

Our hoop (lyra) class helps kids build confidence and learn beginner skills, including moving through the hoop, transitioning through basic shapes, and mastering spins.

Level 2

Kids Hoop Ages 8-14

In our Kids Level 2 Hoop class, students will build on their foundational skills and start mastering more advanced aerial hoop techniques. This class focuses on developing strength, control, and fluidity as students learn to transition smoothly between poses and explore more complex sequences in the air.

They'll work on improving their spins, mounts, and hangs, while also being encouraged to express their creativity through movement. This class is perfect for young aerialists ready to challenge themselves and elevate their hoop practice to the next level in a fun and supportive environment.

Prerequisites

  • Completion of Kids Hoop Beginner Level 1 or equivalent experience

  • Ability to safely mount and dismount the hoop independently

  • Confidence in basic moves such as sitting, standing, and knee hangs

  • Familiarity with spinning techniques and controlled transitions between positions

  • A strong foundation in aerial body awareness and form

Level 3

Kids Hoop Intermediate Ages 8-14

In the Kids Intermediate Hoop class, students will dive deeper into the world of aerial hoop by refining their existing skills and learning more advanced tricks and combinations. This class emphasizes strength, flexibility, and precision, helping young aerialists to execute more challenging maneuvers with confidence.

Students will practice dynamic transitions, explore creative sequences, and start working on inversions and more complex spins. This class is designed for those who are ready to push their limits, build on their aerial foundation, and take their hoop skills to new heights.

Prerequisites

  • Completion of Beginner Level 2 Hoop or equivalent experience

  • Ability to confidently mount, dismount, and execute basic spins and holds

  • Comfortable with single-knee hangs and basic inversions

  • Proficiency in linking 2-3 moves into fluid sequences

  • Demonstrates strength and control during movements in and out of the hoop
